This new event allowed the book to continue its journey, from the city that gave it life to this history-laden palace, which has become over the decades a landmark of Mediterranean culture and the arts. A setting worthy of this singular work, born from the convergence of multiple sensibilities: the preface by Alya Hamza, the photographic vision of Mona Fkih Khouaja, the writing of Nadia Zouari, and the perseverance of project lead Hassine Labaied.
In Sidi Bou Saïd as in Mahdia, “Mahdia Intemporelle” found its audience once more: heritage enthusiasts, curious visitors, and connoisseurs who came to rediscover this poetic journey through the city of Mahdia — guided by the image of a bird soaring over its alleyways and monuments, a thread connecting memory and future.
